Boreham Motorworks to reveal Ford Escort Mk1

Boreham Motorworks to reveal Ford Escort

Dedicated to honouring heritage and pushing modern performance, Boreham Motorworks will present the all-new Ford Escort Mk1 on the 12th December 2024.  As the ‘One True Descendant’ of the RS-lineage, the all-new Ford Escort Mk1 draws design & performance inspiration from each of the high-performance Escort Mk1 variants that graced the roads of Europe and dominated the world of motorsport. From the Boreham-built Escort Twin-Cam and championship-wining Alan Mann Racing Group 5 car to the iconic RS2000.

The team at Boreham Motorworks exist to celebrate some of the road, race and rally icons of Ford Motor Company and its important heritage. Our cars are born from passion and the Mk1 will not be EV or hybrid, it will use petrol engines and manual transmission only, because our heritage guides us, and our future insists upon it. We won’t cancel our heritage; we will evolve it.

As the ultimate expression of the RS-lineage, the new Escort seamlessly integrates cutting-edge engineering and design with the raw driving spirit of the original Rallye Sport icons. It is the definitive successor, engineered for Peak Analogue® driving. The Ford Escort Mk1 by Boreham Motorworks is not just inspired by its predecessors; it is the One True Descendant.
